I retired December 15, 2017 from General Electric Transportation after 32 years of exemplary service. General Electric Transportation, Melbourne, FL, 1998- Dec 2017

Senior Program Manager, Feb. - Dec 2017- Part-time employee under the GE Pensioner Rehire Program

Successfully executed multiple projects for China, Kazakhstan, and Union Pacific railroad customers for the Locomotive Interface Gateway (LIG) product line. I was the interface to each customer.

Managed projects remotely from my home including engineering teams in India, Melbourne, FL. and Erie, PA. Manufacturing personnel located in Warrensburg, MO. Management in Chicago, Illinois.

Generated $2.6M in revenue with contribution margins exceeding the plan. Received $800K in new orders.

Managed all projects transitioning them to the Clarity system. Trained and mentored 2 new Program Managers that joined GE in late 2017.

Completion of SW and HW development for these projects will realize $7M in revenue with high margins over the next several years as production deliveries.

Exceeded financial metrics for 2015 with revenue of $13MM

Completed the initial launch order of the LocoVISION product to CSX for a quantity of 300 systems in 2015 and 2016 at $8M in revenue. This led to other customer orders with Aurizon (Australia) and Canadian National (CN).

Completed the initial product launch of the 2-slot Ancillary Card Cage (ACC) to the Pacific National customer in Australia that met the Australian Certification standards

Lead the development program team of the GE Event Recorder (3-in-1 including the (Federal Railroad Association (FRA), Positive Train Control (PTC) and Video data recording) from a single event recorder that passed railroad certification.

Senior Program Manager, 2008-2014

Integrated CSX Locomotive Interface Gateway (LIG) and Ethernet Over Train-lines (eMU) for 3000 locomotives as a contract valued at $20M.

Completed an Automated Train Dispatching System (ATDS) for Arcelor Mittall Mining Company (AMIC), Canada. A $14M contract with growth to $18M. Negotiated a $3M, 5-year maintenance contract.

Successfully executed Southeast Pennsylvania Transit Authority (SEPTA) Display and Audio Train Management System projects valued at $20M.

Awarded the LocoCAM project to install a video camera system on the CSX locomotive fleet for 3000 locomotives for a multi-year contract valued at $80M.

Developed international customers in Europe, Russia and Communist Independent States (CIS) countries to expand our products globally

Awarded a contract from Finland for $18M to implement the Remote Control Locomotive (RCL) product within the Finland freight railroad. Obtained the first CENELEC SIL III certification for our product.

Promoted to Program Manager 4 as a result of the win of the Inchon Airport proposal for South Korea of $92M to the Transcomm Division. I was awarded with the Program Manager of the Year for this significant accomplishment.

Exceeded project metrics for the management of the Production Build Team of the Voice Switching and Communications System (VSCS) sub-contractors and production material deliveries of over $300M.

Managed the Manufacturing Operations of a commercial subsidiary supplying multiport chassis to the video teleconferencing industry with primary customer, Picturetel Corporation. Achieved $9MM annual sales volume within two years from start-up operation. Key individual to transition the sale of the business.

Exceeded the project metrics for the fulfillment of over $100M for the production material deliveries in support of the B1 and B2 Aircraft programs.

Completed the Material Development Management Program requirements as the second person to achieve this honor within Harris Corporation.
