Career Summary

My Nurse Practitioner Career has consisted of Neurosurgery, ICU, Integrative/Functional Health, and Occupational Health. I have acquired skills in the inpatient, outpatient, hospital, and clinic settings. I also functioned as a First Assist in the Operating Room. I have assisted with admissions pre-op, post-op, follow ups, medication reviews, discharges, and discharge summaries. I conducted physical examinations, diagnosed, and prescribed treatments.

I have gained more than 21 years of professional work experience in the Intensive Unit/Critical Care with experience as a Charge Nurse since 2002. I assisted physicians with physical examinations, procedures, med administration, and with Multi-disciplinary teams. I developed excellent communication skills; and exercised leadership qualities to manage a team of co-workers.

I also saw the need for Integrative Health and Management in the Health Care setting. I have worked with

the Integrative approach and provided Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement Therapy as a Certified Practitioner. I have

given multiple presentations in the community. I have enjoyed working with Bio-identical hormone replacement and seeing the results my patients have had.
