SENIOR ESTIMATION MECHANICAL ENGINEER, NOVEMBER 2018-PRESENT Responsibilities:

• Study the scope of work & tender documents and prepare the tender review sheets

• Create the estimation BOQ and link it with the client BOQ.

• Prepare & send out RFQ for (materials, vendors & subcontractors), follow-up, prepare technical evaluation sheet, send & acquire responses and compliance sheets to prepare quotation comparison sheet to advise the best quotation on basis of the technical proposals submitted, compliance to scope of work and delivery period of long lead items.

• Prepare detailed estimates for different projects.

• Study the tender drawings/bulletins/clarification responses from client and reflect the same to suppliers/vendors/subcontractors to get the offers as per final & revised information from client.

• Prepare the tender cost estimation, such as man-hour estimates, materials, construction equipment...etc .

• Assist project management and contracting personnel with bid analysis and contract negotiations.

SENIOR MECHANICAL ENGINEER, AUGUST 2015 – APRIL 2017. Project Overview:

The project is for renovation of biomedical research facilities for the US Naval Medical research unit NAMRU-3 under the supervision of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineer (COE). Responsibilities:

• Initiating & reviewing mechanical submittals for biomedical equipment and systems

(cage wash, air shower, HTP, lab equipment,..etc) .

• Initiating Mechanical submittals &shop drawings for HVAC, gas and plumbing systems.

• Initiating specifications for purchase of materials and biomedical equipment.

• Follow up the procurement process for the biomedical equipment and material with vendors (cagewash, air shower, HTP, lab equipment,..etc) .

• Review mechanical Shop Drawings, Reports, Bill of Quantities issued by subcontractor located in the US to ensure compliance with the scope of work, specifications and contract drawings.

• Recommending design modifications to eliminate system malfunctions.

• Attend technical meetings with client, design consultants and material suppliers.

• Coordinating between existing site conditions and new customer requirements.
