Topic: Stability Considerations of Converter and Stall Controlled Wind Turbine with Asynchronous Generator.
Project Description: The theme of work is stability considerations of a stall controlled wind turbine with an asynchronous generator. The focus of research is the stability of the wind turbine within the range from Cut-In to Cut-Out wind velocity. The research focus was to develop an asynchronous generator model in MATLAB environment Simulink and to couple them to the National Renewable Energy Laboratory’s Fatigue, Aerodynamics, Structures, and Turbulence (FAST) program. The included work in the project is a simulation of ASM rotary and stationary frame models with the FAST program. Semester Projects
