Project Manager
Delivered expert leadership and superior project management skills for multiple offshore projects. Conducted meetings with key stakeholders and worked with Operators to determine project intent, requirements, and budgets. Identified and implemented process improvements, while reviewing all plans and specifications during pre-construction phase. Applied project management tools to generate cross-functional project plans and identified schedule and cost risks; produced plans that minimized risks during execution, enhanced strategic alignment, increased safety, and supported predictable results.
Key Contributions:
Erha North Phase 3 Project: Successfully completed project for development of six subsea well tie-backs to existing host (Floating Production, Storage and Offloading facility, FPSO) on budget and four months ahead of schedule.
Earned Shell Global Upstream Impact Award in 2006 in recognition for outstanding team performance in the category of Profitable Growth for Deepwater.
Realized $400M in cost savings, comprising approximately 20% of approved project budget.
Zabazaba ZZ Project: Managed project covering 22 subsea wells and 150K bopd FPSO.

Project Lead, Bonga Northwest Project (BNW)
BNW was a 6 well subsea project in deepwater offshore. Held bottom-line accountability for all aspects of assigned project scope; led up to 500 personnel (staff and contractors) cross-functional team during construction/installation phase. Orchestrated all tasks involved with full life cycle project management, including design, procurement, construction, installation. Collaborated with project team, key stakeholders, and clients to ensure key milestones met at every phase. Facilitated productive workplace culture by mentoring project staff and promoting continuing education for all onsite crew members. Managed efforts in areas covering budget, strategy, planning, and scheduling.
Key Contributions:
Project Leadership: Formed the team and managed the project to ensure all tasks were executed by required deadlines for several project initiatives; completed scope of work three months ahead of schedule.
Cost Savings: Saved $70M, comprising approximately 12% of approved budget for scope of work.
Awards: Earned Shell Global Projects and Technology Performance Excellence Award in 2014 for outstanding contribution to top quartile projects and wells.
BNW won 2015 Platts Global Energy Award in New York, USA.

Shell INTERNATIONAL EXPLORATION & PRODUCTION. Houston, Texas September 2000 – February 2007
Lead Engineer, Bonga/Bonga Southwest & Llano Projects
The projects comprised the subsea wells connected to the host production facility in deepwater. For the pipeline scope, held accountability for front end engineering design of the export pipeline, and managing vendors, consultants and contractors’ performance in procurement, fabrication, installation and commissioning phases of the facilities.
Key Contributions:
Leadership: Collaborated and led the team on the host facility to complete the installation and pre-commissioning of the pipelines as planned, safely and to the right quality.
Cost Management: Tracked and managed the cost/expenditure of an engineering scope of the export pipeline awarded to a consulting firm. The scope was completed under the approved budget.
Site Management: Achieved site delivery goals on time, quality and safety by pragmatic management of schedules, resources, interfaces with others, vendor performance, reviews and acceptance tests.
