Hi, I’m Clyde
I am a clear communicator that can bridge the information gap between technical staff and management. I was trained in advanced modeling and design techniques and I’m presently completing two years of employment with Northshore University Healthcare as an HIT Associate. I was part of the PeopleSoft programming and development team (six person), in the App Services Division.
I completed the PeopleSoft Development Methodology course as well as learning beginning and intermediate SQL. The Healthcare Information Technology (HIT) initiatives we participated in were serving as a helpdesk for Human Resources, as HR utilized PeopleSoft software. We maintained the web pages, made modifications and conducted SDLC Requirements Analysis for new pages. I completed an extensive course in PeopleTools that exposed me to Application Designer and SQL Developer. We performed quarterly software maintenance by installing bundles (updates) and Affordable Healthcare Act revisions that were part of the Financial Dept. calculations for employee insurance. We also ran software bi-weekly that allowed Payroll to do their calculations. We resolved password/log-in issues with the Active Directory. And, we utilized the Development/Testing/Acceptance/Production (DTAP) method of software testing and development.
While there I was given assignments (and aided by team members) to develop two Web pages; Finance Pay Period/Setup, and Laptop Tracking (both attached). I utilized the LanDesk Ticket Management program to track support requests. I attended weekly meetings of the CWR development team and observed and participated in large scale SDLC discussions. My work there consisted mainly of programming and development initiatives, but I was involved in many other HIT team responsibilities. Individually, I was responsible for daily patient merge of MRN’s using Centricity Exam Manager and Observer/Sitter salary totals on an Excel spreadsheet (monthly.) I Updated FTP protocols for all the ENH SQR,s and their scripts, and produced the daily systems checklist and weekly audits for closed RFC’s. I was solely responsible initiating the API and PeopleSoft process backup runs for Payroll on Payroll Monday. I am currently studying SQL and Java Programming, as well as HTML, CSS and JavaScript. I aspire to an Applications Analyst or Programmer Analyst position.
