Geophysical Data Processor (Qurum Business Group - Surveys, UAE)

The Job consists in the charting and data processing of geophysical data; checking survey data received from the offshore survey team for completeness and quality. Examining and processing of the raw surveyed data. Evaluating processed survey data and responsible for correct processing of survey data as per client requirements. Processing and integration of hydrographic data (primarily multibeam / singlebeam ). Preparing and responsible for quality control of final bathymetry.

Duties and Responsibilities

-Quality Control (QC) of data from Survey Acquisition

- Reporting of Calibration results prior acquisition

- Processing of data of the specific survey:

-Bathymetry survey

- Organize and archive processed data according to established standards.

- Communicates with Processing Manager and project management details regarding quality and quantity of gathered geophysical data.

- Liaises with Processing manager to understand project specific deliverables, processing requirements and delivery timeframes.

- Supports the processing of all acquired data and deliver in any format suitable for the reports with minimum supervision.

- Proficient in all necessary hardware/software process gathered data.

- Assisting mobilization and demobilization of marine equipment

- Performs other duties or completes special tasks assigned.
