06.2017 Prediction of a song to be in top 10 list of Grammy Award: In this project we are given a set of historical data.The data collected are based on the list of songs that have acquired a place in the Grammy Awards in the previous years(1994-2010).

We are to process the data and create an algorithm which could predict the possibility of a song to come in the top ten list of Grammy.

The designed algorithm would be predicting based on a couple of given data set(e.g.Loudness,pitch etc) and analysed output will be depended on the previous historical data. The data are in continuous form and we use K-means clustering to group the data in different sets and we are used Naïve Bayes technique.Then calculate the probability using Gaussian analysis to get selected or not. Projects: Design and Development of a Hadoop based Big Data analysis system: In this project there are 20 computers clustered together, of which one is the master machine and others are slaves. The master and slaves has different hardware characteristics. Choosing of appropriate hardware, designing the cluster, installing Hadoop, configuring Hadoop for analysis, monitoring Hadoop is done in this project. These twenty computers create a runtime environment for processing and analysing data. Though analysis is not part of this project, it is mostly for testing the cluster, but some analysis work can also be done to debug the problems, if any. Courses
