RESPONSIBILITIES:

Inspect and tests electrical panels used to control equipment, and systems for conformance with specifications, following wiring schematics, and using electrical testing equipment instruments

Compare wiring and location of control devices on panel with blueprints wiring diagrams to verify assembly

Examine wiring for loose or faulty connections

Connect leads from panel onto power source leads to prepare for testing activities

Test wiring circuits and controls to isolate locate causes of malfunctions, using electrical instruments.

Record causes of malfunctions on test sheet routes defective panels for rework

May change defective control devices on panel, using hand tools, and solder loose or faulty wiring.
