Skills

I have extensive skills in all areas of the optical and ophthalmic field to include Electronic Health Records (EHR), A/B scans, manual refraction, tenometry, manual keratometry, visual fields, neutralizing lens prescriptions with manual lensometer and all techniques of pre-op and post-op of patients undergoing cornea, retina and glaucoma surgeries, and refracting patients to determine best visual acuity.

Additional Information

I have spent many years in the eye-care health profession. I have a wide range of life experiences that I feel would be beneficial for any endeavors I may follow. I would like to remain active in the optical field either full-time or part-time while pursuing a Master’s Degree in Bible Studies. I also intend to renew and update all my certifications to ensure they are current with today’s changes in the optic field. I am also qualified in providing instruction and guidance in the Christian faith for those who may seek help or spiritual advice.
