PROJECTS

Course: Design in Software Development (Summer 2018)

With a team of three, my team built a website using HTML, JavaScript, and PHP that was designed for teachers to make and save questions, make and save exams, grade and publish results. Students could take these exams and see results once published by professor.

I was in charge of the front-end of the project.

Course: Methods and Practices in Software Development (Spring 2018)

Took part in a team that developed an application which simulated Conway’s Game of Life.

The application was segmented into three parts; the GUI, execution process, and an object library.

There was also performance testing on the application via benchmarking.

Course: Database Systems (Spring 2018)

Built a bash script in which every 3 seconds it would download an html file which included a table listing 50 NYSE companies and statistics about their current stock price. It would then run a python program and pass the name of the html file as an argument.

The python program would extract the data from the html file and insert the data into my NJIT database. Using PHP, a web page would display the content from the NJIT database.

Course: Data Structures (Spring 2017)

Wrote a program in Java that can be used to hold and manipulate employee profiles from 3 different departments in a company. Essentially the program was a simple CRM.

EXPERIENCE

UPS, NJIT Capstone (Currently)

Part of team developing two applications to help UPS technicians with on site server support.

Using the ASP.Net 2.1 framework we are building the GUI, DB, and APIs in C#.
