Professional Summary

I currently serve as a physician assistant in a community health care setting. I have been employed by Crusader Community Health for the past twelve years. Primarily, my practice serves outpatient family medicine patients and prenatal patients. In addition to direct patient care in a clinic, I have continued my education in behavioral health through courses at Liberty University and took part in a Chicago based collaborative regarding integration of behavioral health in the patient centered medical home. I serve as a Physician Assistant in family practice with a large Spanish speaking population. I also preform services in outpatient prenatal care and see a large population of women's health. I love my patients and the variety that I see on a daily basis. I have been employed at Crusader Community Health for the past twelve years and was awarded a leader of hypertensive and diabetes quality in 2017.

I am currently pursuing employment in the state of Texas and have obtained my Texas Physician Assistant License as of August 28th, 2018.

This allowed me to experience deliveries, surgeries, and clinical care of the uninsured women in this region. I also traveled to Ecuador for an elective rotation, and spent time with a mission organization for one month. I was able to assist with mission oriented care to the native Ecuadorians in the surrounding mountain villages of Cuenca. I was able to develop my Spanish language skills while learning in Ecuador.
