ACADEMIC PROJECTS

1)Multimedia and Web development

Creation of a single webpage which includes multiple webpages as links and as objects. The webpage portrays about India during Indus valley civilization. Involved CSS styles and jQuery for designing the webpage and many objects like video/audio files were included in the webpages. Achieved webpage scalability and compatibility across various internet browsers. HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery was used in this project.

2)Database Management System

This is an individual project and it’s about creating a database for an airline company. This database was designed, created and managed in PostgreSQL. Tables generated from entity types and from relationship types as necessary for many-to-many relationship types. Decisions for generalization/specialization are appropriate for the overlapping/disjoint and mandatory/optional constraints. All tables populated with enough data values to demonstrate the operational integrity of the database. All necessary primary key, alternate key, and foreign key constraints are defined. Any other column or table constraints required on attribute domains are also defined.
