WORK HISTORY;

From August 20, 1978 to November 30, 2015 I Worked at the Boeing Company (McDonnell Douglas) located at 2401 Wardlow Road, Long Beach, CA 90807 (37 Years). I was “LAID OFF” on November 30, 2015 due to the Boeing C-17 Plant closing.

During this 37 Year time period My main Job Duties were Performing Inspections of all Electrical & Electronic Installations and Systems on the C-17 Aircraft and other Aircraft that were being Built during this time at the Long Beach, Plant.

For a Period of 3 years, 2002 -2005 I Performed TRAINING DUTIES on the C-17 Program for the Computer Systems that were being Implemented to be Used in the Manufacture of the C-17 Aircraft. These Duties required Designing and Printing Training Materials for various Training Classes and, Presenting the Training Classes to the C-17 Employees.

This is an accurate Description of the Work Duties that I have Performed since August 20, 1978.

IS: At the Top Area of the Pilot’s “Light Control Panel” on the Left Hand Glareshield.

The Grey Foam Padding (P/N 17P1E1083-501/502) is Riding against the Outboard Side of the HUD UNIT.

S/B: The Foam Padding is not supposed to Ride against the HUD UNIT. Install Foam

Padding Per B/P Requirements.

NOTE: Ref. to Line Check 1661823 which covered Ships F246 thru F250. And, Required that the Foam Padding be Trimmed so that It would not Ride the HUD UNIT.

IS: At the Top Area of the Co-Pilot’s “Light Control Panel” on the Right Hand Glareshield.

IS: Inside Pylon #1 at STA YIN 240.5 INBD at the Connector Disconnect Panel above JE-451. The Overheat Detector Sensor Elements, REFDES 3623RT013 & 3623RT014 do not have "ID Labels" Installed on Structure at Connection Point as Required by

DPS 1.34-12, Paragraphs 4.16.2 - 4.16.2.4 and Figure 5.

S/B: Install "ID Labels" with Correct Nomenclature of [3623RT013-"A" Loop] to Lower Element & [3623RT014-"B" Loop] to Upper Element Per DPS 1.34-12 Requirements.

NOTE: This Discrepancy has been Identified on previous Ships.

REWORK Per B/P and DPS Requirements!

S/B: Install "ID Labels" with Correct Nomenclature of [3623RT037-"A" Loop] to Lower Element & [3623RT038-"B" Loop] to Upper Element Per DPS 1.34-12 Requirements.

NOTE: Repetitive Discrepancy, Written on Ships F247 & F249.
