OBJECTIVE

Seeking a position of Project Superintendent where my extensive experience in all phases of construction and professional skills are used to their full potential.

EXPERIENCE

HMG Construction Co.: 2014-2016 acting as superintendent for custom residential construction. Follow schedules, dealing with subcontractors, and required City inspections. Coordinate with the Architect and required designers for completion of the job. Projects ranging between 3 to 18 millions dollars.

Fassberg Construction Co.: 2011-2014 & 2016-2018 Superintendent at a West Hollywood three levels condos, and Downtown seven levels apartment with lower level commercial construction and underground parking-lot, also custom condominium apartments in Encino. Provided daily reports, all required project documents, change orders as require, kipping in pace with schedule.

Sinanian Development Inc.: 2007-2011 Construction Superintendent, for complex commercial projects. Prepared written construction documents. Coordinated the work of all trades, applied CPM to stay on schedule or to adjust it, handled field conditions. I negotiated changes orders due to unforeseen field conditions pertaining to the project. Applied Value Engineering and create new designs as required. I also submitted weekly site reports. Studied and submitted alternate construction methods to be more cost effective and time efficient. I completed projects as: “Yeshivath Girls academy school” in Los Angeles and “Armenian society of L.A. in Glendale, both projects with steel framing structure. Applied and maintain safety practices.

Fassberg Construction Co.: 2003-2007; supervising and managing complex projects in major urban area, including earthquake structural upgrades and coordinated the work to the satisfaction of the Structural Engineer and the department of Building and Safety. Revise and review construction designs due to nature of Fast Track work. Running multiple jobs concurrently, preparing two weeks look-ahead schedule.

J.D.Group Inc.: 1996-2003 Construction Superintendent, involved with high-end custom homes were specific emphasis on details, was of the utmost importance. Responsibilities also included material procurement for the entire project. I coordinate the job site for subcontractor work, to the satisfaction of the management and owners. Preparing construction reports, and review budget for specific construction costs.

1988-1996: Construction Superintendent and member of the Management team, at a number of construction companies on a variety of projects from complex residential to medium size commercial. Maintain the schedule and the budget for the project. Coordinating the site work for all construction disciplines required, with emphasis on no delay time, and to the approval of the owners.

Pierce Structures Inc.: 1982-1988 Senior Structural Designers. Member of a team, in charge of the sections designs for the project Biosphere II in Arizona. I also successfully completed designs and fieldwork assignments for numerous projects like steel canopy of Bullocks Wilshire Plaza in L.A. and Fallbrook mall, support details for canopy structure at Montreal Expo in Canada. I was responsible for coordinating the installation of a section of the main canopy for testing.

Road & Rail Ways Construction Co.: 1977-1981 Engineer managers responsible for section area of a subway tunnel system, with open cut excavation and soil stabilization. Highways retaining walls and slope stabilization. Post tension bridge structure and building for Train Rail Station. I supervised large groups of workers. Reviewed and approved worker pay and coordinated the work with the Architects and the Transportation Department. Attended and reported at the weekly coordination meetings.
