I am currently working as a machine operator in CIE USA which is located at Shelby Township, Michigan USA. Jobs that I do as machine operator are Operation of injection molding machines according to work instructions provided by the supervisor, inspect part quality, packing of parts, assemble parts per assembly instruction, complete necessary production paperwork after the shift is done. Worked as a Terminal Operator in Emirates General Petroleum Corporation Dubai, U.A.E partnered with Air BP and Shell. It is a Petroleum Storage and Distribution Company. Jobs that were assigned to me in the Terminal were Ship Berthing, Product Sampling, Marine loading arm connection and disconnection, Pipeline Transfer, all product movement in and out from the ship to tank, pump house and vice versa, jetty fuel loading arm, shipping fuel cargo, pipeline and manifold. Had responsibility for fuel measurement, and quality control done according to the procedures and update the data to the control room. At the same time, I had to check pipeline pressures, leak, or any other abnormalities in the line. Depressurizing the pipelines were must as pressure builds up mostly in summer. Blending, tank to transfer, additive (stadis 450) is added. JET A1, Mo Gas and Diesel are transferred from the terminal to the ship and vice versa via pipeline. Tank Gauging, Truck Loading and Sampling. Assisting the shift supervisor to update the inventory computer system every hour in the control room. Corrective and preventive maintenance for pumps, MOV, valves, air compressor fire-fighting equipment. I had to line up 11kV/1050 kW pumps which is then start up from the control room which was monitored and any abnormalities were reported to the control room. I have switched on, had done maintenance, and have operated the 250kW/440 3 phase pumps and delivered products in specific volumes and pressures according to the customers’ requests. I have carried out plumbing maintenance, repair leaks, had to clear the drainage system when blocked, repairing and replacing new hoses. I had to Paint areas that were needed to be painted. Start and maintain Emergency fire water pump. New mechanical installation, bearing change, spade change, stainer cleaning, filter replacement, and Safety precautions & routine checks in all Terminal facilities.

I have installed and maintained motors, generators, transformers, circuit breakers, ELCB, MCCB, MCB, capacitors, soft starter, protection relays, UPS, battery charger, lighting DB, motor operator valves, shut down valves, safety valves, flow meter, fire alarm system, air compressor. Had performed general mechanical maintenance work and other related duties with mechanics/colleagues. Knowledge of electrical system including planning additions and modifications of secondary circuits.
