Heavy Civil Field Operations, General Superintendent, Project Superintendent Kent’s construction experience is in wet and dry utilities, earthwork, excavation, and road construction - including structures and bridges. This is his 40th year in the construction in the industry. Project experience includes CIP [cured in place] pipe rehabilitation, piping for commercial and industrial applications, cross-country pipeline for the power/petro sector, tunnels, trenching, shafts and bores, lift and pump stations; paving, grading, storm and sanitary sewer for transportation projects {TX DOT/CAL TRANS /D-Dot / F-Dot}, airport and airfield projects, DoD/Milcon projects on military bases, Government [GSA] projects, and private site-work, including residential infrastructure.

I feel very strongly about the importance of safety for my crews; we work safely and efficiently to bring a project in under deadline and budget. I have participated in many shoring classes, confined space training, OSHA 30, trench rescue, First Aid Certification, rigger competent person – and I am involved in training my crews to do the work safely. I am bilingual and well organized; this gives me a real advantage in getting the work done, getting along with my co-workers, the inspectors and the Owners. Project Superintendent: Schedule work and crews; ordering of all material. Daily reports, bi-weekly meetings with TXDOT and municipalities. Schedule work for sub-contractors, meeting with the Owners of Texas Sterling, and Project Managers there. Grades and elevations for tunnel crews, dirt crews, and concrete crews. Monitor equipment for upkeep. Input on bidding work - how long to complete tasks and how to safely plan deep excavations - some were 40' deep. Also On site Safety Director. * Spur 455 - Harry Hines Blvd infrastructure and pavement (4-lanes to 6 lanes); wet utilities, 72'' water main and tunnels.
