My expertise and experience are in the fields of Strategic Sales Planning, Relationship Management and Market Place Expansion in the Canadian Oil Industry. Since 2001 I have focused on the heavy oil/bitumen SAGD market in the Athabasca Oil Sands region of northern Alberta. In addition since 2008 I have expanded my efforts to both the South American and Middle East Oil Industry for marketing our OTSG equipment line as well as our HRSG; Fired Heaters; Waste Heat Recovery Systems; and Simple Cyclic Catalyst Systems.

Responsible for managing the planned expansion of the IST-Enhanced Oil Recovery Group into the Heavy Oil Market of Western Canada

In conjunction with IST’s Engineering Team work to establish strong vendor relationships to ensure that IST is in position to meet our diversified clients needs.

Oversee the expansion of the growing South America Marketplace for IST 2005 – 2008 Baker Petrolite –Senior Account Manager Fort McMurray Oil Sands

The target BPC account in Fort McMurray in early 2005 was in jeopardy and Open to competitors. I designed and implemented a six month intensive plan of product development and on-site management. These efforts secured the target account, closed the door on competitors, and eventually led to the award of the commercial project to BPC on a three year contract.

The client award allowed my team to pick up the associated upgrader project unchallenged.

The value of this business relationship will allow the local BPC Team to increase their market share and gross revenue from the area by 50%. They are now positioned as the major SAGD market leader in the area.

Redesigned several facility’s chemical program to improve overall plant efficiencies. These efforts led to a hard cost savings to the client as well as reduced potential safety instances on site due to the reduction of chemical deliveries.

Training new team members was another priority of mine. I mentored junior team members to take over key accounts in my sales territory. 2003 – 2005 Nalco Energy Canada – District Representative

2002 - 2003 Vantage Contracting Inc. – Senior Project Manager

As Project Manager for Imperial Oil Properties in Western Canada, and Imperial Oil Pipeline Facilities Terminals in Nisku and Sherwood Park, I managed sub-trades spread out over 250 facilities and vacant properties throughout Alberta and the Yukon. My responsibilities included upkeep, construction and demolition activities.

Area Manager for CPG’s expansion to Vancouver, B.C, I established the company as a significant contributor in the B.C. Engineering Consulting Project Management Sector. The Company was eventually acquired by a large international Engineering firm

As an Environmental Engineering Technologist with JWEL limited, located in Saint John New Brunswick, I completed site assessments and prepared final reports for Phase I, II and III Environmental Assessments on 300+ commercial and industrial properties throughout New Brunswick, British Columbia and Nova Scotia.

I was the Site Manager for large industrial construction projects such as expansion to the Irving Refinery, pulp and paper mills Brunswick Mines, ACEL Mills and Beldune Power Plant.

CBCL hired me as one of the first Environmental Engineering Technologists to be part of their Environmental Services group in Halifax.
