I am seeking a position that will utilize the skills and talents I have aquired; recently I have returned to a medical billing support role. In my current position I assist patients with insurance related issues, payments, and appointment scheduling for Kroger clinic accounts. The role has given me front line contact with the clinic patients and providers. Due to the company’s recent change in direction and licensing requirements; I am seeking a new position.

Prior to this, I held the position of Unemployment Hearing Coordinator for over fifteen years. The position required knowledge of multiple state regulations and appeal procedures while handling time sensitive material. There was extensive phone contact with clients during case preparation as I coordinated their appearance in hearings. As a lead coordinator, I also served as a mentor to other hearing coordinators, assisting with training and resolving issues daily.

In past positions, I worked as the lead for R.L. Polk, where I facilitated operations to assure my team met ad-hoc and cyclical production objectives. I led a team of data analysis to meet quality metrics and timely deliverables. While in that position, I assisted in standardizing report designs under a specialized team. While employed by Accu-Med, I held the role as Quality Assurance Analyst where I wrote and tested software test plans for Accu-Med’s proprietary clinical and financial software. My role was not a technical role, but rather as an end user support role. I was responsible for assessing and testing financial production builds to validate enhancements worked as desired. As the quality analyst lead, I authored the Y2K test plan for the enhancement of the financial module. This included the execution of the test scripts as required by federal compliance.
