AJ Gallagher - Successfully managed and led a portfolio of 7 concurrent Information Security projects by effectively communicating with senior management and driving project tasks to completion to maintain project timelines. BMO Harris - Was asked to take ownership of and proactively lead and manage an effort to decommission “at risk” websites that were acquired as part of an earlier M&A. After several prior attempts failed during the prior 12-month period, our team completed the decommissioning task in less than 3 weeks. This resulted in accolades from several Directors and senior level executives commending our teams’ efforts and specifically my leadership and management skills. Led, managed, and drove, critical bank wide Information Security project. The goal was to reduce and if possible, eliminate all personal email traffic and data from entering and leaving the bank via the Blue Coat proxy server. Created metrics and reported Status updates to Senior Management. Resulted in an 81% reduction of personal email transmissions and a 77% reduction of data transmissions via personal email. Led and managed status meetings.

Operations Management

Invesco PowerShares - Analyzed current process and created new process for handling trading exceptions and trade reconciliations for Operations Group. Resolved process flaws by sending midday and EOD CRD trade execution files via Swift messaging, which resulted in a 30% reduction of next day exceptions and reconciliations thereby saving time and cost for firm. (Invesco PowerShares) Developed business requirements to automate ETF basket creation processes and calculate NAVs for PowerShares Equity, Fixed Income, Buy/Write, International and UCITS ETFs.

Process Improvement

Invesco PowerShares - Successfully analyzed and resolved risks in development processes by removing redundancies and correcting synchronization times of environments, which reduced development time to production, from months to weeks, resulting in over $100,000 of project cost reduction. CBOE - Increased client base by 250% during tenure as Floor Manager of Equity Execution firm on CBOE by serving clients with integrity and providing excellent executions and service.
