Operation Backpack Project Leader for Clinical Resource Unit 2015

A hospital-based project that aims to distribute 1,000 backpacks, as well as various school supplies, to Wilson County Public Schools. The goal of the project is to make sure underprivileged children in Wilson County have all the supplies they need, in order to be successful in school. Supplies and monetary donations are collected and delivered directly to the schools.

Edgecombe County Public Schools Nurse Volunteer 2015- Current

Participated in student health education and health screenings for children in grades Kindergarten through 8th grade. The goal of volunteering is to assist with providing healthcare to an underserved community and benefit the environment
