CAREER PROFILE
As an aspiring Mechanical Engineer, I have over 5 years of technical experience in the field. My expertise and core skills are largely developed from my work with Ryerson Helium and the Ryerson Formula SAE Racing team. I have designed detailed CAD drawings for proprietary systems, conducted FMECA analysis on our aircraft components, and have written professional reports of our design progress to showcase to companies such as Boeing. With my specialization in Manufacturing and Design, I’ve acquired competencies within Design Optimization, and Rapid Prototyping. To further my knowledge in Process Optimization, I am preparing to take the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification Exam, February 17th, 2019.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
RYERSON HELIUM Toronto, ON January 2019 - Present
Ryerson Helium is a start-up aimed at revolutionizing aerial transportation by designing and building an all-electric Personal Aerial Vehicle (PAV), with the goal of winning the $2,000,000 Boeing GoFly Competition. Aircraft Specialist
Designed a highly optimized Vehicle Entry System (VES), which saved 34% on costs compared to the prior design
Applied FMECA analysis to assure that 15 parts of the Structures subdivision had their risks clearly detailed
Utilized Fusion 360 and SolidWorks to effectively construct 20 aircraft components, across 3 subdivisions RESPONSE TEAM Toronto, ON October 2018 – Present
Response Team was created to provide epileptic patients a way to predict their upcoming seizures. Our design is a wearable device used for alerting both the user and caregiver of an upcoming attack, allowing them time to respond. Product Engineer
CAD modelled and 3D-Printed the casing for the device, to save 15% in manufacturing costs
Coded Arduino Uno circuit which involved 4 sensors to accurately take measurements of the user’s condition
Constructed a professional presentation, detailing the economic feasibility of the device with up to a 300% markup 2
