Global Collateral Management and Monitoring system for managing Wholesale Banking Book Collateral to mitigate risks involved in varied lines of business like ILOC, ELOC, LCB and others. This system allows managing the collaterals through external feeds, manual entry. It also consists of process of collateral valuation, capturing market data and other interfaces.

Collateral Monitoring functions enable the users to monitor the collateral positions with respect to eligibility checks, concentration limits, surplus or shortfalls based on pledge agreements throughout the collateral life cycle so that timely actions can be taken from operational and risk perspective at individual relationship level as well as across the portfolios and the bank.

GCATS Aggregation tool (GCATS-AT) is the central repository for global collateral data reporting for wholesale non-traded products required for calculating regulatory capital under Basel II. This application was created on 2005 to improve collateral process and reporting for internal risk management purposes with the key goal of ensure that collateral data was aggregated for all secured credit facilities that support non-traded products, so that the risk mitigating effect of collateral could be included in regulatory capital calculations.

The scope of this project is to cover GCATS-AT retirement and the migration of its functionality to Citirisk Collateral and Optima global applications.

Collateral Management - CitiRisk Collateral - RECAM Rollout for OCA (Office of Chief Appraiser) Users in 3 Hubs: Real Estate Collateral Administration Module (RECAM) is a significant enhancement within the CitiRisk Collateral, addressing an outstanding MRA, while also replacing inefficient spreadsheet based processes. RECAM supports the entire life-cycle of Commercial Real Estate Appraisals and Valuations globally, and has been implemented in North America, London and Hong Kong in the first phase. It will satisfy the regulatory requirement of ensuring independence and quality, while ordering, managing appraisals and evaluations. RECAM will be the central source for all Commercial Real Estate indicative and Valuation data. The module will track Requests for Commercial Real Estate Appraisal and Related Services, e.g., Environmental and Engineering Services which may be required for new loans, loan extensions or refinancing and/or mandatory annual appraisal of classified and real estate owned assets.
