Final Dissertion Impact of network latency on 5G based autonomous driving : To improve road safety and traffic efficiency services on the path toward automated driving, the automotive industry has developed technologies for direct communication between vehicles and infrastructure. These transformations include dealing with increasingly complex road traffic demands, the necessity to coordinate with other vehicles than being totally selfish. These requirements challenge the ongoing communication networks in terms of speed of transferring the information, ahead of what the available technologies can provide. The goal was to propose a model that can provide a lower latency compared to 4G and also study the variation of throughput in terms of a number of autonomous cars that can cross a road intersection versus the network latency in the proposed model of 5G. Took into account, the vehicle to infrastructure communication (V2I) at the intersection. Also Studied the network latency variations with respect to the inclusion of safety provision at the intersection bearing in mind of what 5G demands.

Projects Static Simulation Of 4G Network With Reuse Partitioning. (Group Work) The goal of the project was to observe the working of the 4G network and implement reuse partitioning through Matlab programming.

Objectives:

A. To compare two radio resource assignment algorithm - Maximum Throughput & Round Robin Algorithms.

B. To check the impact of the Hysteresis Margin on the success of Handover Procedure. Scholarships Er-go Merit Scholarship throughout masters degree.
