Currently working as Project Engineer with experience of over 5 years in Engineering, Planning, Installation and Testing & Commissioning in Substation Projects.

JAZEERA EMIRATES POWER, Dubai. Sep 2016 - Present

PROJECT: Construction of 132/11 KV & 33/11 KV GAS INSULATED SWITCHGEAR (GIS) in Treatment Plant, Shipment & Musaffah Substations.

CLIENT: Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) & Abu Dhabi Distribution Company (ADDC). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Preparation of Detail reports- Weekly and Monthly reports on the basis of Work Progress and Project Schedule.

Attending Progress Meetings and Reporting Progress to the Project Manager.

Preparation of Electrical procedures for installation testing & commissioning.

Installation of all lighting Conduits, Lighting Fixtures as per approved shop drawings.

Handle the tasks of monitoring the development of installation and update the report to senior electrical Engineers.

Perform the tasks of maintaining drawing registers, drawing files as well as site filing system.

Supporting design team to resolve site issues as per the site conditions and also get approval from client.

PVC, GI Conduits, Wiring Accessories, Cables, Cable Trays and Material Required Quantity Take Off From Drawings.

Preparation of method statement and risk assessment for all activities.

Arranging tools and tackles for erection activities.

Verification of erections activities, control wirings and power cabling with approved drawings.

Verification of O&M manuals, preparation of AS built drawings and AS built cable schedule.

Preparation of O&M Manual for lighting and small power system for DEWA Substations and got approval from client.

To conduct illumination test at various substation and GT’s per the approved lighting design calculations.

Supervise the cable tray installation as per approved drawing and modify as per site conditions with client approval.

Backfilling the excavation with proper layer of cable protecting material.

Protection of cables in the bend (bending radius) and vehicle movement area with proper sleeves.

To plan and carry out the cable testing works.

CLIENT: TATA power projects

PROJECT DETAILS: Project Engineer, for various substations in India namely 220/33 kV Substation Orissa for TATA power projects.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Site execution during civil, erection and testing work managing the site staff and subcontractors and coordinating with all site parties and site activities.

Supervision of 33kV HV Cable termination as per client recommended.

Planning and scheduling for technical meetings with clients, contractors, suppliers providing overall schedule with work completion, supplying materials, installation and commissioning progress.

Managing manpower on the sites for their daily activity according to schedule and milestone and Planning and programming for site works, controlling Manpower.
