PROJECT EXPERIENCE

Online Learning Application

The project I was involved in during my previous employment is Online Learning Application / E-Learning. I had the opportunity to work on two different types of E-Learning Projects. Both the projects were targeted at MBA. E-Learning Project we used Moodle as the Content Management System. While the backend was customized by a technical development team, I was involved with the Content Creation. I used Flash to develop the visuals required in the content. Photoshop was used where ever static images were required. Flash was used extensively to deliver rich and compelling content to the user. The virtual classroom module used flash extensively to stream lectures by various professors to the online students.

Project Management Whiz

Project titled as PM Whiz (Project Management Whiz) we have used only Flash for Content Management and Content Presentation. It was during this project that I acquired extensive knowledge in Flash Action Script.

The complete user interface of the project was customizable with the ability to add menu items, lessons and interactive content without having to alter the Flash files. The complete content for the menus and lessons were stored in simple text files. This makes it easier to make corrections or changes to the content without having to edit the Flash files and then recompiling it.
