Re: Tammy Leggett
To Whom It May Concern,
My name is Briggs Cook, MD and I am a facial plastic surgeon in Huntersville, NC. I have been in practice for 16 years and limit my practice to eye and facial plastic surgery. In addition, I am the medical director for Pure Med Spa and have been extensively involved with cosmetic procedures, including the injection of neuromodulators, such as Botox and Xeomin, and dermal fillers, such as Juvederm, Voluma, Restalyne and Radiesse, for nearly 15 years.
I have known Tammy Leggett, RN for approximately 10 years. At my previous practice, Mrs. Leggett provided laser services including laser hair removal, laser skin tightening, and IPL therapy. In addition, Mrs. Leggett was also the lead injector for Botox and dermal fillers.
I have absolutely no reservations recommending Mrs. Leggett for the entrance into the medical provider profession. Having worked with her for such an extended period of times and in such close fashion, sharing patients back and forth, I have no reservations about her professional care of patients and her compassion. She is extremely meticulous and her first concern has always been and will always be for the patient. She is extremely intelligent and knowledgeable and will make a wonderful Nurse Practitioner.
Mrs. Leggett receives my highest recommendations. Please feel free to call or contact me with any questions.
Sincerely yours,
Briggs E. Cook, Jr., MD

To Whom It May Concern:
This letter is my personal recommendation for Tammy Leggett. I have known Tammy for the past five years. I have had the opportunity to watch her grow as a person and student in her pursuit of becoming a Nurse Practitioner.
Tammy has overcome many obstacles in her path during the past five years. Through it all, she perseveres. She is a determined and dedicated woman, with a heart to help all people. Tammy has taken on the nationwide drug epidemic in her own community and used her personal funds to place sharps containers around her community to prevent sharing of dirty needles, as well as to prevent them from being left on the ground for others to potentially be harmed. She is a woman determined to make a difference, one person at a time.
It is my personal recommendation that Tammy Leggett would be a perfect candidate for Nurse Practitioner due to her dedication and compassion to care for others.
Sincerely,
Rebecca Nixon, Registered Nurse
Letter of Recommendation
To Whom It May Concern:
I am pleased to submit this recommendation letter for Tammy Leggett. I am Tammy’s coworker as well as her supervisor on the Clinical Decision Unit at Halifax Hospital.
Tammy has many favorable qualities which mesh well in today’s healthcare landscape. One of Tammy’s attributes is how well she applies both her education and extensive experience to exact the best possible outcome for her patients. She is a proponent of higher education and is constantly furthering her knowledge base both via formal channels as well as conducting research on her own time. Tammy has a thirst for knowledge which will never be completely satisfied. Subsequently, she is proficient in melding her own clinical experience with today’s best evidence based practice and renders the highest quality care to her patients. Tammy is also an excellent communicator. She is clear and decisive in both word and action, which translates to more favorable results in any given situation.
Tammy is the de facto leader during crises on the unit, which is often. She acts as liaison to coordinate care between our many providers, patients and departments. Tammy is approachable, adept at resolving conflict and shepherds staff members less seasoned than herself. To no surprise, her discernment is sought out by ALL members of our healthcare team with great regularity. Tammy is truly an asset to whichever institution is fortunate enough to have her.
Sincerely,
Robert Burns, RN
