Projects:

Designing, commissioning and maintenance of 415 V IMCC, 415 V PDB, 6.6 KV switchboard. It included calculating load demand, sizing of breakers, voltage drop calculation, transformer sizing, power factor calculation and correction, panel heat load calculation, switchgear selection including protection scheme, motor starter selection & sizing. In addition to the above, preparing SLDs of IMCC and PDB at different areas in autocad. Doing basic and detail engineering of electrical components like circuit breakers, transformers, electrical panels, UPS, electrical motors, VFD drives.

Commissioning and designing in automation works of stoves, PCI, GCP, blast furnace, pump house, coal grinding using ABB 800 XA. It involved hardwiring termination of the panels, communication between various PLCs, preparing logic flow diagrams & control loop diagrams, developing logic in the PLC, IO selection, testing various logics etc.

Automation of Hot Gas Generator using ABB PM 572.

Establishing communication between various areas of Blast Furnace. It included communication between various areas in PLC using profibus, Modbus, fiber optic cable as well as communication with IMCC, VFD, soft starter etc.

Preparation of logic flow diagrams, control loop diagrams of blast furnace, stoves, pump house, PCI, GCP, coal grinding. It involved preparation of datasheet of instruments, selection of instruments, erection & calibration of instruments as well as fault finding.

Commissioning of 20/5 ton, 25/5 ton, 35/5 and 25/5 ton cranes for hot blast, Cast house and 16 hoists at different areas at Rourkela Steel Plant. Doing basic and detail engineering in the cranes like selection of motors, VFD drives, preparation of SLDs.

Involved in preparation of Basic Engineering and Detail Engineering documents for various projects like Bhilai Steel Plant, Jindal Saw Limited, Jindal Steel Works for preparing of BOM, datasheet, collecting offers for bid purpose.
