Patient Vital Parameter monitoring system through Bluetooth (Masters) The ECG signal is obtained using a ring electrode. The obtained ECG is made to process using the LabVIEW software. The heart rate is obtained and the detection of the abnormal signals like Bradycardia and Tachycardia is found. The heart rate from the ECG can be transmitted through a Bluetooth module. Thus the patient's dates transmitted serially and received using Bluetooth module. Using LabVIEW makes the user understand visually also both digital and graph readings are displayed in PC. Micro Controller based Scoliosis prevention equipment using Flex Sensor (Bachelors) As part of the project, a device was designed to help people suffering from scoliosis prevent further deteriorating of health, using a flex sensor. This Device will alert the user whenever the curvature of the bend of the spinal cord has reached the threshold value of spinal curve angle on comparing with a predetermined value. Continuous use of the device will ultimately train the user to maintain good posture for their entire life.
