Accountabilities

Configure, troubleshoot, Maintain and Monitor Billing System Databases under SUN UNIX Solaris

With SUN Cluster Software Technology.

Install Oracle 11G under RHEL 6.3 for Reporting System.

Provide Support to critical Systems that must be available 24/7.

Configure the backup Strategies (HOT & COLD Backups).

Responsible with Billing Team for implement new Provisioning setup requests for Billing System.

Backup, Maintenance, Recovery and Tuning of company’s database.

Check for RMAN backup logs for any errors.

Check Alert Log files for “ORA” errors.

Truncate listener logs if size exceeds 300MB.

Sizing Memory Components from performance point of view.

Check the databases for any INVALID Objects and rectify the problem.

Check tablespaces for any space problems and their growth patterns.

Database Cloning as per requirement.
