DTACS allows service providers to control and perform remote services on the DTAs in subscriber homes. DTAs enable subscribers to watch digital broadband services on analog televisions. DTACS works along with DNCS. DTACS takes care of sending SI information for DTA boxes and it will take care of the DTA activation, Image download and package authorization and channel map control. DTACS is capable of managing up to 3 million DTA's. DTACS generates doctor reports that help the customer in diagnosing different issues in DTA.

Alcatel OMC is a Network Management Framework developed for WiMAX Network. OMC system consists of Performance, Alarm (Fault), Configuration, Topology, Supervision, Mediation and Security Management subsystems. Mediation subsystem is in charge of the communication with the NEs. In particular, it supervises the communication link, in order to detect a communication breakdown.

Performance Management subsystem is responsible for the configuration of Performance and Radio Traces related parameters, such as the data retrieval granularity period and so on. Configuration Management subsystem maintains the mechanism for data persistency on the database, local modification of parameters, synchronization with Network elements (configuration upload or activation, alignment state), defense and integrity of the data.Alarm Management subsystem is to detect, log, notify users and automatically fix network problems to keep the network running effectively.

Responsibilities:

Accountable for requirement clarification, test strategy preparation, test case document preparation, test case document review and test summary report preparation.
