I am looking for a position that will allow me to finish my industrial Maintenance/Mechatronics program at TCAT Knoxville and that will hopefully add valuable applicable experience and allow for further opportunities for growth.

EXPERIENCE

REPUBLIC PLASTICS MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN-2017-PRESENT

Responsible for Preventive Maintenance program at Republic Plastics K2 facility organizing scheduling pm’s for all machinery completing pm’s and follow up and coordinating reordering of parts. Also responsible for extrusion projects and extruder rebuilds and rebuilding dies for extruders.

THREAD CENTER MACHINE OPERATOR, GERDAU, KNOXVILLE,TN 2015-2017

Responsible for operating two lenton cnc machines, organizing and stocking thread center stock for production of hot orders as needed. Run 7 ton rotation friction welder. Couple and cut threaded rebar to order specs.

OWNER OPERATOR, L&L LAWN EDGING, KNOXVILLE, TN - 2013- present

Ran my own company for the last year. Duties included everything from sales, advertising, maintenance on all machinery, and taxes.

EXTRUSION OPERATOR, VISKASE, LOUDON, TN - 2009-2014

Duties included but were not limited to one of several extrusion machines. These machines were anywhere from 12 to 18 position. I had to ensure quality of the casing that was extruded, the acid and glycerin concentrations in the tubs. Start and stop positions as production required and perform gear changes.

EXTRUSION OPERATOR, VYTRON, LOUDON, TN - 2006-2009

Ran screw type extrusion machine. Perform any and all quality checks ensuring that all specific measurements were met. Perform change over and clean dies and screws. Set up vacuum machines.

CONNECTING ROD MACHINE OPERATOR, MARCA, VONORE, TN - 2000-2004

Started in assembly, certified to do every job on the line. Very fast paced environment. Moved to connecting rod machine operator after 1 year. Was over production of a 16 station cnc machine, two 8 station cnc machines and a honing lathe machine. Assisted in maintenance of the machines, daily maintenance, inventory, change overs and ensured quality of connecting rods and that quality checks were maintained. Company relocated to china and mexico.

CORPORAL USMC, CAMP LEJUNE, NC - 1996-2000

Responsible for preparation of 13 fire team members in platoon. Ensure that mission was carried out to the best of our abilities and objectives were met. Also ensure that any new goals were completed if an extra task was deemed necessary.
