**** * ****** *** #***, Tulsa, OK 74135, 918-***-****, **********@*****.***, https://www.linkedin.com/in/ram-tiwari-eit-5a68918b/ Summary Electrical Engineer experienced in Power System, Power Electronics, RF circuit design and analysis; Engineer-in-Training Certified; Keysight RF/MW Industry-Ready Student Certified; Good in oral and written communication; Willing to expand skills; Clean driving record; Planning for PE Exam. Actively seeking a full-time job in Electrical Engineering. Work Experience Electrical Supervisor (Jyoti Spinning Mills LTD, Kathmandu, Nepal) Feb 2009-April 2014

• Performed scheduling of personnel to cover required work, documentation of work practices by individuals, and report on activities of outside contractors during power outages and special projects.

• Prepared electrical schematics and equipment layout in AutoCAD, to improve designs and manufacturing processes.

• Inspected, tested, repaired, and replaced as necessary all types of motors, generators, transformers, switches, circuit breakers, control equipment, wiring, the electrical signal, and storage batteries following approved company procedures and knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC).

• Conducted Meggar and Continuity testing of cables and equipment for the safety of the electrical system.

• Purchased supplies, ensured adequate inventory, planned budgets, estimated cost, created the Bill of material (BOM) and prepared documents.

Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant (University of Tulsa, Tulsa, OK) Aug 2014-Dec 2018 Updated designs, tested equipment, and assisted in the following experiments:

• Investigated the impact of changing the transmission line length and the nature of the electric load on the power delivered to the load in the three-phase power system.

• Constructed three-phase step down transformer with complex impedance load, measured power factor, turns ratio, efficiency and voltage regulation, and compared the change in efficiency and phase for various loads.

• Analyzed change in speed of DC motor for shunt and series connections for different loads.

• Connected AC source, synchronous generator and Dynamometer and measured the open-circuit, short-circuit and resistive load circuit characteristics of a three-phase synchronous generator.

• Designed LCR circuit, NPN/PNP transistors, RC Filter, DAC and ADC circuit, Power electronics circuits, and Op-Amplifier circuits and analyzed using Oscilloscopes, Current probes, and Multimeter.

• Constructed DC-DC buck converter and boost converter and verified as buck and boost converter by comparing with the voltage ratio. Using the critical boundary equations, identified the duty ratios at which inductor operates in CCM and DCM for different inductance and capacitance.

• Constructed and analyzed 3-phase bidirectional buck-boost power conversion (DC/DC) circuit topology with PWM and operated with a soft switching and fixed switching frequency, a useful technique in Battery energy storage system.

• Compared hardware and simulation Fourier Analysis (FFT) results in ripples, harmonics, conduction loss and switching loss of rectifier using MATLAB/Simulink.

• Performed simulations, analysis and design of load flow analysis, short circuit analysis, open circuit analysis, protection coordination studies, and Arc flash using ETAP.

• Evaluated Power System Reliability indices: LOLF, LOLP, and EENS using MATLAB.

• Designed 3 phase IGBT-based, MOSFET based, and Thyristor-based AC/DC system, studied and analyzed the change in the pattern of DC output waveform RF, FF, THD with the change in voltage.

• Designed Radio Frequency (RF) circuits with transmission lines, impedance-matching circuits, and filters in ADS and analyzed using Smith Chart.

• Designed impedance matching circuits: L network, T-Network, and Pi Network in Smith Chart and ADS and compared extracted values of circuit elements.

• Using HP 8510 Vector Network Analyzer System, the reflected responses (return Loss, Standing Wave Ratio, Reflection Coefficient, and Impedance) and transmitted responses (Insertion Loss or Gain, Transmission Coefficient, Electrical Delay, Phase Deviation, and Group Delay), S-parameters on a cable assembly, and Filter were compared to the incident wave over a frequency spectrum.

• Predicted the s-parameters of several two-port devices, power splitter, bi-directional coupler and a combined system using ADS and compared the measured s-parameters against the predicted values and published values.

• Managed research projects, involving literature review, design and perform the experiment, data analysis and writing manuscripts for the journals.

• Synthesized and characterized optical and electrical properties of nano-structures semiconductors.

• Performed numerical modeling of solar cells, solar cells fabrication, and characterization.
