WORK EXPERIENCE

Worked as Station Coordinator (April 25 2016 to April 24 2017) with Borlaug Institute for South Asia (BISA). BISA is a collaborative effort of International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center (CIMMYT), ICAR and Government of India.

Coordination with staff, the activities to be performed at each stage of the crop cycle. Implement crop calendars and rotations.

Ensured that staff activities are performed in accordance with the instructions and procedures. Monitor and manage field technical staff for strengthening outreach programs, monitoring, evaluation, action research and experiments

Made the necessary required agronomic adjustments in experimental plots in order to preserve them and kept them in good fertility condition for planting.

Coordinated with the labor contractor, the supply of farm labors that are required in the station in order to meet the requirements of the research programs and the station itself.

Arranged the Agri-inputs for timely farm operations. Managed the farm produce, its storage and disposal.

Ensured that the administrative and accounting activities are performed timely and correctly

Checked the funds that are generated through charges to research programs, ensuring proper implementation and verifying compliance with the budget allocated to the station.
