Managed the Product Support Department which provided technical support for container handling equipment and other heavy support equipment used at Port Terminal, Intermodal Terminal and Heavy Industry through a network of 53 Dealerships located in North America including Mexico and the Caribbean. This support was provided by 12 Product Support Engineers and administrative support personnel. Planned, organized and coordinated with dealerships, factory engineering departments and other manufacturers to insure that the units were designed and operated as requested by the customer without jeopardizing the safe operation of the units. This includes but not limited to engineering and installation of modifications both mechanically, and or electronic. The assembly and servicing of our equipment in a often challegencing locations and conditions.

Responsible for the effective operation of the warranties department with technical and administrative support and the warranty budget of over 1.1M annually

Performed numerous assemblies, turnover tests,program diagnostics and modifications on Straddle Carriers, Heavy ForkLifts (50 ton). Reachstachers and other container handling equipment. Coordinated and conducted assemblies of Container Handling Equipment in most all of Central America which required working with local dealerships/contractors.

Responsible that all the dealerships had the proper training to ensure that all the equipment had a minimum amount of down time for servicing. Responsible for the warranty department that handled the US & Latin America, This included direct payments to the dealerships and contractors within the Americas.
