Software Developer, Dymaptic, Fall 2018-Winter 2019 Worked for a small startup specializing in custom geospatial software. I primarily developed tablet applications used by a large oil and gas consulting company doing outdoor construction projects.

Collaborated with other employees on the design and development of new application functionality requested by the client for their field workers.

Wrote Java and XAML code to develop tablet applications that used a survey format enabling field workers to record individual geographic points, which were later uploaded to a DynamoDB database to track underground pipe efficiency for safety regulation compliance.

Survey data included geospatial location, images, electric current readings, and field notes.

Developed UI improvements including attribute filtering using MySQL and Java.

Tested and documented all new code introduced into the tablet field application.

Monitored the app when the changes were introduced for any additional bugs that might arise.

Designed and built the UI layout for a new in-house product using a combination of XAML and C#.

Added a map from ArcGIS Online to the in-house product.
