Application Developer/Senior Systems Analyst – As a developer and analyst I worked on all phases of SDLC to deliver information systems to the money transfer operations of BNYMellon. Designed, coded, tested and installed dozens of various applications.

Team member of a merger and integration project between the Bank of New York and Mellon using COBOL, CICS, DB2 and VSAM files. Responsible for analyzing developing, testing, coordinating and implementing the conversion.

Team member of a Wire Transfer conversion project between the Bank of New York and Mellon using Mellon’s home-grown Inquiry (CICS) teleprocessing monitor with an MQ Series interface, which updates VSAM files and a DB2 database. Responsible for analyzing developing, testing, coordinating and implementing updates.

Team member of the bank’s Funds Transfer System. An application that managed the automated wires and transfer of over a billion US dollars a year. Worked heavily in anti-money laundering design as it pertains to wire tranfers and the office of foreign assets control(OFAC) with the Clearinghouse. This was a high exposure application due to adherence to government regulations.

As a team member or independently was responsible for the following:

Utilized COBOL/DB2 and COBOL/CICS for the following: Customer Billing Projects, Fossil Fuels Projects, Transmission and Distribution System and Stock Material System.

Supported client-server environment through installation, maintenance, upgrading, test planning and troubleshooting of installed software applications

All projects and upgrades were completed in a timely manner and had successful results.
