This assignment required core Technical Lead competencies as their business model is vary complex and system need to be developed in such a way that it should be capable of handling all future requirements. This project was started with 5 resources including 2 QA resources. After the first successful implementation, client trust was earned and this initiative has now expanded to 20 team members.

Agency Sales & Posting (ASAP)

FIS - ASAP provides comprehensive Sales, Posting & Publishing Services to the real estate foreclosure industry. There were following modules under this project

Sales- Sales module specifically deals with managing the sale of the foreclosed property taken into consideration the law of land where the property is located. The sale module has interfaces with field agents which can be used to keep the agents in the know of changes in the status of a particular sale. Specific actions allowed by the sale module include postponement and cancellation in addition to the actual sale. These changes are governed by rules which validate sale order at runtime, thereby making the sale process as user friendly as possible.

Pricing- Pricing module is responsible for calculating the cost and price of the services rendered by ASAP to the clients. There were two modes of calculating the price. One was manual and the other was through the pricing engine.

Account Receivable- A/R System is responsible for payment received from clients. It tells about how much payment has been given by the client and how much is pending. Reports are created in SSRS 2000 and Crystal Report.

Administration- Admin module is responsible for providing the user interface for managing and handling the administration work of the above modules that includes Group/Resource management etc.

Technical Responsibilities

• Interact with Client to map and refine the use-case analysis results to a complete technology realization covering both functional and non-functional requirements, and design constraints.

• Create high and low level functional specification documents and get an agreement with the respective stakeholders.

• As a Technical consultant, I was responsible for designing the framework of an application and its various modules, including writing technical documentation, building proof of concepts.

• Attending defect review meetings and war-room meetings with testing teams to review the defects. The outcome of these sessions used to be highly beneficial for the timely completion and delivery because we used to thrash out the issues related to test data requirement and it's availability, any integration issues related to third party services.
