Profile

I have just completed a **.* course from Provider Practice Essentials covering suturing, x-rays, splinting and more for urgent care. Certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by ANCC, ACLS and BLS. I have worked the spectrum of health care though dealing with insurance, providing direct patient care to clients and sales. I strive in my life to make the most of whatever I am doing and do it well. I excel at taking care of patients and educating them on their health care needs and diagnosis. I have never had one complaint from a patient in regards to their care of how I treat them. I went back into health care when I had a very lucrative career in sales but it did not fulfill me the way taking care of patients does. I honestly want to take care of patients and make them feel that they are the upmost important job that I was doing that day.

Worked collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary health care team. Obtained new referrals through new and established providers by keeping in touch about their patient’s status and needs. In consult notes detailed differential diagnosis and reasons for exclusions of such. Through taking time and educating my patients, I built strong relationships with my patients and never had one complaint. Complements per my manager and staff were a daily occurrence. I saw hospital patients as consults and follows up for in-patient with average of 20 per day. In office for post hospital follow up, new patients and established patients would see on average 10 to 15 patients after helping with morning rounds. I ordered tests, procedures, and performed physical exams independently and with my provider. I was working on obtaining my privileges in order to be able to supervise cardiac stress tests. I saw patients for PAT and education conducted on vascular and cardiac procedures that would be performed on the patient. I also worked with TAVR, mitral clip and Watchman procedures. I mainly worked with one provider, however, when needed. At times I worked with any of the other seven providers in the office along with helping any of the other nurse practitioners when needed willingly and with enthusiasm.
