Contributed in the evolution of health IT transformation by architecting and designing the largest EHR in the world resulting in a matured, well understood and managed architecture of this massive “System of Systems”: o The DoD DHMSM program has completed go-live of the MHS GENESIS (modernized electronic health record) at all four Initial Operational Capability (IOC) Military Treatment Facility(MTF) sites in 2017 and is rapidly progressing towards a Full Deployment Decision (FDD) for all MTF’s. The DoD fielded MHS GENESIS to 153,000 Military Health System personnel, providing care for 9.4 million DoD beneficiaries worldwide.
Recognized as a thought leader to design and execute a tailored approach/framework for Enterprise Architecture which resulted in optimization of processes with respect to organizational domains and work streams o Pioneered an integrated approach to business and IT, providing “blueprint” for DoD’s current and future Health IT environment resulting in a holistic view of the Enterprise

Spearheaded the analysis, architecture and design for phased approach to DMIX AWS GovCloud migration of two of our major systems. Assisted customer with Cyber Security assessment based on FedRAMP agency authorization based on NIST 800-53, Also did analysis and mapping with DoD Cloud Computing Security guidelines, Cloud Computing Security Requirements Guide (CC SRG) and DoD Secure Cloud Computing Architecture (SCCA). Key Achievement with major impact to the Agency: Pioneered a unique approach to Enterprise Architecture that uses architecture to unify phases, segments, workstreams and layers. This approach was widely accepted in the Agency resulting in the realization of full potential of a healthy enterprise supporting the IT solution. The architecture team under my guidance is operating as the single team establishing common mental model across all other teams of the organization (requirements, engineering, data, cyber security, infrastructure and test). Due to the value add and unique alignment of business and technology achieved, this team is providing expertise to three programs under DHMS, namely DHMSM, DMIX and iEHR. Key Achievement with major impact to Sekon: Pioneered the System of Systems architecture approach, designed and built the Enterprise level architecture capability.
