INDUSTRIAL INTERNSHIP TRAINING:

Bharat Earth Movers Limited (B.E.M.L)

This training is focused on bridging the gap between academic curriculum and industry Requirements. This division (K.G.F) manufactures bull dozers, hydraulic excavators, wheel Dozers, tire handlers, pipe layers, rope shovels and walking draglines for the mining and Construction industry, heavy duty tetra trucks, heavy recovery vehicles (HRV), armored Recovery vehicles (ARV) and other aggregates for the defense sector.

Associated Cement Company limited (ACC), WADI cement works. This training enhanced my basic knowledge of stages involved in cement manufacturing Process also the overview visit of cement plant to understand the basic approach and Industrial work environment.

PROJECT DETAILS:

Project title : Design and Fabrication of four way hacksaw machine Four way hacksaw machine deals with the material cutting such as wooden pieces, pvc pipes and hollow metallic rods, this model consist of 3 phase Ac Induction motor, 3 phases AC dimmer and model frame. It consists of four cutting arms provided with four hacksaw blades connected to the center of the motor. As the supply is given to the motor the cutting action takes place, which enables cutting of four work pieces at the same time at the four ends of the model, hence resulting in mass production. The cutting speed of work pieces can be varied using 3 phase dimmer by altering its voltage.

Project role: Design of model, material purchase, fabrication, estimation and costing.
