Present product strategy, features & road map to executives, stakeholders for execution approval and align them for business priorities.

Develop product, market & customer use case requirements documents (MRD/PRDs) Conduct product and use case requirements review across all stakeholders.

Develop product positioning, pricing, licensing, go to market strategy & competitive analysis.

Work closely with engineering to develop the product with MVP definitions, design reviews and product feature prioritization.

Coordinate across engineering, quality assurance, customer support, marketing, sales operations, sales account teams and executive teams for a successful product release.

Work closely with marketing team in developing product launch materials, website content, quick looks, data sheets, brochures etc

Develop sales, customer and technical support training and demo materials.

Develop/participate in internal product management practices, including processes, tools and training's.

Attend Tradeshows/Seminars/Conferences, develop solution content, present product/solution/technical topics at these shows, promote solution/brand among potential new/existing customers.

Current organization and position: Working as Senior Product Manager at NESCOUT Systems Westford, MA, USA responsible for product management of different NETSCOUT enterprise products. (From May 2003 – Till Date.) – 16+ Years

Responsibilities: Managing product features definition working closely with customers, engineering, sales, support and marketing. Understanding customer use cases and translating it to product enhancements and features, defining product roadmaps and software release contents, defining product delivery schedules and commitments to customers. Understanding competitive and market landscape, product time to market, positioning and pricing, complete responsibility of end to product requirements definition to designing and delivery to customers. Working closely with engineering teams in designing the product requirements meeting customer needs and use cases. Developing product features based on business and revenue opportunities which will in turn have a direct impact on product sales. Overall end to end product life cycle definition and delivery ownership to customers.

Currently responsible for NETSCOUT Arbor Threat Analytics product line, Previously responsible for NETSCOUT nGeniusONE product line.

Technical Skills

Experience in various commonly used enterprise networking, cyber security protocol standards

Experience in various service provider networking protocol standards in 2G, 3G, LTE, CDMA2K, IMS

Experience in TCP/IP Stack, ATM, WAN, VPN, VoIP, Routing/Switching Protocols, Cisco IOS Netflow, IPFIX etc.

Expertise in network management protocols –SNMP, RMON1, RMON2

Prior In-depth technical expertise in Software Engineering - SQA test automation tools software development, developing end to end test automation suites using c, c#, java, HTML, perl languages, Automation tools integration to build servers and Automation website development, management.

Prior In-depth technical expertise in Software Quality Assurance – Managing multiple SQA Projects (Manual and Automation based quality assurance), SQA Projects Management across multiple teams, People/Performance management (up to 15 SQA engineers across 3 different groups), Manual testing methods, building test labs, knowledge on testing tools and methodologies, test case and defect management systems. Working closely with software development engineering in releasing high quality software products/solutions.
