Assembly Mechanic / Electrician 2004 to 2017
Worked in the V-22 Hub and Blade area. Did buildup and install of the blades to the V-22 rotor. Did buildup and install of lightning strike and pendulum to the hub. Did buildup and install of wire harnesses for the V-22 rotor. Did entire buildup of the hub. Did buildup of the Rolls Royce engines to be installed to the V-22. Worked all facets of the hub and blade area. Constantly updating any training, safety procedures, and any new computer programs needed to complete the job on the scheduled timeline.
UNION PACIFIC RAILROAD
Train Conductor 2003 to 2004
Kept overview of train manifest. Looking for any special speed restrictions, pickups and drop offs of train cars, and train materials such as hazardous for the transport. Added and released train cars at designated locations by working with train engineer over radio, or by the use of hand signals. Communicated with train dispatcher during transport. Keeping updated with new safety regulations.
BELL HELICOPTER TEXTRON
Assembly Mechanic 2000 to 2003
Worked Final Assembly area for the V-22. Made ready and installed Rolls Royce engines to the V-22. Worked with the representative from Rolls Royce with any problems with engines. Got engine compartments ready and worked any defects in area. Installed outer panels for engine area. Worked hydralic FTP with other team members in the area. Worked with others in station to keep aircraft moving. Constantly updating any new safety training, and computer updates as needed.
COX COMMUNICATIONS
New Construction Technician 1997 to 2000
Installed new and damaged cable underground and overhead for the Amarillo area. Using truck lift, mobile compressor, ditcher, and other tools to complete task. Providing customer service for upset clients.
TRISTAR PROMOTIONS
Trade Show Promoter 1990 to 1996
Setup trade shows in coliseums and malls in Texas and Oklahoma. The local venues were the Amarillo Civic Center and the Westgate Mall. I would contact local businesses to setup exhibits in predesignated locations to display their products and services. Setup appointments by phone. I worked with auto dealerships, boat dealers, RVs, local home contractors and home products, and businesses in the medical community. Dealing directly with the managers or owners of these businesses. Often getting sponsors and setting up advertising through the local media for the event. Supervising setups and teardowns of the exhibits. Supplying insurance and decorator packages as needed for the event.
