Summary of Work:

Study the condition of track alignment, track and turnout installations, ballasts and concrete sleepers on Turaif-Waad Al Shamal track valley.

Assembling of Turnout & Crossovers – 1 in 18.5, 1 in 14 and 1 in 9 as per SAR Standards.

Performing Rail Length Measurements for every section of Turnout installed and verifying all dimensions are in specified tolerances.

Planning and supervision of Track laying activity which includes track laying, LWR by Thermite welding, supervising the ballast profiling with regulators.

Supervision of work train movement to and from yard, scheduling loading/unloading of sleepers, FBW and LWR strings.

Ensuring all materials are delivered to site and is as per approved specification.

Carrying out site surveys to identify the maintenance needs of a track section.

Measuring section of track geometry including cross levels, twist, cant and rail alignment.

Performing technical analyses for track work/alignment condition.

Carrying out Inspection works on Track like laying of ballast bed, sleeper placing, turnout installation, tamping and regulating, final grinding etc. till final commissioning of track.

Participate in all activities related to the civil scope of work during construction supervision, quality control, testing and commissioning as well as construction management of the project.

Monitoring selection of track materials and reviewing track implementation methods as well as works instructions.

Reviewing method statement of every track activity and making necessary changes if required.
