“DEVELOPMENT OF HIGHWAYS ELECTRONIC TOLL COLLECTION AND ENTRY SYSTEM” ELECTRONIC TOLL is an element of Intelligent Traffic System which allows non stop toll collection as well as continuous monitoring of traffic. Eletronic toll system utilizes vehicles equipped with eletronic tags, wireless communication, in road side sensors and a computerised system to uniquely identify each vehicle which electronically collect the toll and provide traffic monitoring and data collection.
