I also was responsible for the admissions, Psychopharmacology, treatment, staff meetings, therapy and discharge of the patients in this Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Acute Unit. Worked in the Forensic Adolescent Psychiatry Unit of Central State Hospital in Petersburg, Virginia. During this experience I supervised third year medical students of the Medical College of Virginia and was in charge of therapy, psychopharmacology and completed Psychiatric Forensic Evaluations.

Worked five hours a week with Dr. Kernitsky, Director of Child Neurology Clinic, at the Medical College of Virginia, Richmond, Virginia. At this clinic I reviewed cases with dual diagnoses with the Child Neurologists and answered consults mostly of seizures, headaches and somatoform disorders.

In charge of psychopharmacology, assess suicidality, evaluate for admission to an Adolescent Psychiatric Unit and therapy for the Adolescents in Detention.
