Designed and coded the Watson Content Management System. Designed the entire data architecture (In DB2), built over 50 scripts using SQL/DB2 to support and catalog the daily arrival of content from over 12 providers (From AP news to Wiley Journals), and created the entire operational system. This included a daily delivery process for over 15 IBM Watson centers. All processes are automated.
Supported 8 Watson clients including Geico, Mercedes Benz, Honda, etc.

Provided the technical solution that helped IBM win an additional 5 million dollar project from Eckerd in 2000 (Designed dynamic called utilities that greatly simplified the migration of over 1,000 of legacy programs from IMS and VSAM data platforms to a new Oracle/DB2 data platform). Designed a central repository of foundation data comprised of Mainframe DB2 tables and client server Oracle tables in support of this solution. This data repository provides cross-platform data synchronization using a single origin of data maintenance for store, supplier and product attributes
Designed the solutions, and managed the integration and transition of Merchandising and Logistics I.S. operations in support of Eckerd acquisitions (Thrift Drugs, Fays Drugs, and Genovese Drugs). Worked as acting Logistics Manager/Chief Architect.
Performed detailed application analysis, design, and implementation of new Merchandising & Logistics systems written in and/or utilizing the following technologies CICS, COBOL, Easytrieve, JCL, IMS, DB2, VSAM and Oracle.

Designed, coded, and implemented a product average costing system. This system determines company wide gross profits, store billing, etc. It has never required any modifications and is considered strategic to Eckerd’s daily operations.
Designed, coded, and implemented a new store ordering system. This system continues to support the entire daily replenishment of Eckerd’s 2600 stores today.

E-Systems Inc. (Now a part of Rayathon)
Designed, coded and implemented a real time, on-line system that enabled all departments (Finance, Budgets, Manufacturing, Engineering, etc.) to track contractual information and change notices from cradle to grave. This system consisted of over 30 CICS programs as well as batch components. This system took the place of a proposed 2 million-dollar batch system being developed by McDonnell Douglas.
Served as a key member in the development of a new Job Order system. This system directed work and gathered budget information company wide.

Designed, coded and implemented a new Sales and Bookings system. This system replaced over 30 jobs and 80 programs with a single job and 2 programs that provided more functionality and flexibility.
Designed, coded and implemented a new Receiving/Inspection distribution system in support of new government requirements.
