Title: HOME ON PHONE (HOP)

• Automated home, using IOT technology by developing android application to control and monitor home appliances.

• Surveillance security of restricted area with Geo-fencing using Python and OpenCV.

• Designed smart socket which stops phone charging when its battery reaches to certain level set by user in android app.

• Implemented Ambiance assistance which controlled the intensity of the light-bulb manually and automatically using Lua Script.

• Constructed a smart mail box in which whenever a postman delivers any item, user immediately gets notification on his/her phone.

Implemented weather-app using Node.js (Language Used: - JavaScript) January 2019

• Used third party libraries called axios which is Promise based HTTP client for the browser and node.js.

• Implemented Promises in place of callbacks for reducing complexity in several asynchronous operations that depend on each other.

• MapQuest and Dark sky APIs are used for location and weather information respectively. Created a Notes application using Node.js (Language Used: - JavaScript) January 2019

• Added features like add, read, list and remove notes.

• Notes are fetched and stored using json file.

• Used third party library called yargs for building interactive command line tools. Developed my own shell in MINIX3 Operating System (Language Used: - C) August – September 2018

• Successfully implemented “ ” (Pipe), “;” (Sequential), “&” (Parallel) operator in shell.

• A facility of triggering alarm and asking user if he/she want to continue the current process or terminate, if execution of command takes more than 5 seconds was successfully implemented.

• Used local Storage to store data locally within user’s browser.

• Tested an ACCOUNT class specified by JAVA code and Extended Finite State Machine (EFSM). EFSM testing was done with the help of Model Based Testing and identified Default (Ghost) transition in EFSM model while JAVA code was tested by Multiple-Condition testing for checking predicates of conditional-statements in operations.

• Created a testing environment (Test Driver) to examine all test cases and compared the expected results with actual results.
