Wireless Sensor Networks and Computer Vision Based Precision Agriculture A project to help farmers use pesticides and water like resources precisely by providing them the data like soil moisture,crop yield and organic matter content etc. to increase the per acre value.It Involves setting up Wireless Sensor Network on the field, enabling drone to collect both data from the sensors and images of plants simultaneously. A CNN model(using pre-trained googlenet from MATLAB deep learning toolbox) was developed to detect and classify diseases in mango leaves as part of the project. An algorithm to collect data from ground sensors was implemented. WiFi enabled sensor nodes for forming ground sensor networks, Raspberry Pi and Parrot drone for collecting data are used. Smart Irrigation System

Developed a system for remotely sensing soil moisture content and actuating motors for irrigation. Built an Android/Web App to display real time data and predictive suggestions for farmers. App has DTMF support to remotely actuate motors without internet. Done as part of Embedded and Intelligent Systems course. Supply Chain Management for Fruits and Vegetables

Developed a system to track freshness of vegetables and log location of vegetable-carrying vehicles periodically. Implemented a heterogeneous network using bluetooth and wifi to track freshness. The system also periodically log data from neo-6M GPS module onto AWS cloud database. Developed a web App to visualise logged data. Done as part of Introduction to IoT course.

Intelligent Traffic Lights System Using Image Processing An image processing based prototype to prioritize traffic signals based on the vehicle count collected from images captured by camera on lanes with MATLAB based GUI was implemented in Digital signal Analysis and Applications course. Eye Tracker With Blink Detection

It is a computer vision based system with a custom algorithm for detection of eye blinks and alerting the user if required. Opearting Systems Concepts Simulator

A GUI based project implemented using JAVA to simulate operating system concepts like scheduling algorithms, Dining Philosophers problem etc.
