Ability Summary

Caster/Withdrwal operator in the caster im resposible for setting up the mold and preparing to cast. Start cast and end cast. As Steel Pourer im resposible for hooking up ladles filling and maintaning tundish wieght also doing ladle exchange and shroud changes as needed. As a Withdrwal Operator im responsible for making up the dummy bar head and sending it up to the caster operator im also resonsible for disconnect and cutting slabs to scheduled cut lengths and when shutting down to withdraw the slabs from the machine, also cut samples. While at 2 Steel Producing we were operator repairman in which we did our own segment and shaft changes in the machine. While beginning my career in the steel mill I started out as a deskull operator cleaning up the furnace, then cleaned tundishes, but started as a laborer.

I've also ran heavy equipment Payloader, Bulldozer, Bobcat, Forklift, Gradall, LG-Gradall, Cherrypicker. Also ran a Cable Crane, Overheadcrane, Remote Crane, Crane with Clamshell Bucket.

As a Correctional Officer I was Resposible for supervising 90 to100 inmates daily ensuring the safety and security of the facility. I had to communicate and monitor daily activities with inmates and staff.
